Nacidos en Alemania bajo el nombre Gummibär o Gummibärchen. Fueron creados por Hans Riegel un confitero de Bonn que comenzó la compañía Haribo con un capital inicial de: una bolsa de azúcar, una placa de mármol, un taburete, una cocina de piedra, una caldera de cobre y un rodillo. En 1922, inspirado por los osos entrenados de las festividades callejeras y mercados europeos del SXIX, inventó los entonces llamados Tanzbär (ositos bailarines). Esta golosina se mantuvo a un precio asequible (solo 1 Pfennig)incluso durante el período de hiperinflación de Weimar Alemania. Algo que lamentablemente no ocurre en nuestro país donde actualmente podríamos considerarlos un artículo de lujo dado que un paquete de 30 gr. de ositos puede costarnos alrededor de $ 20 (por ahora). Por lo que más bien sugiero imaginar su sabor antes de ir al kiosco.
Las fotografías son viejas, de una vez en It´s Sugar Bar un local especializado en golosinas, cuya dueña es la hija de Ralph Lauren. Este local se caracteriza por tener todo tipo de golosinas de tamaño super gigante. Tal es el ejemplo de el oso con el que se ve posando a Lupe Sendra (productora y modelo de Estilo Naná). Ese día también tuvimos la suerte de ver una cama que estaba recubierta de ositos. Pero, ni probamos el oso y tampoco la cama, solo le tomamos las fotos para compartir.
